HISTORY OF Eagle Eyez Athletics

Eagle Eyez Athletics is an innovative sports organization design to up-lift the youth in the community. Started in 2009, Eagle Eye Athletics started two programs in the Raleigh-Durham area which were Hoops 4 Hope Christian Basketball League and the Christian Knights AAU Basketball Team.

Eagle Eyez Athletics focus on providing a professional atmosphere while teaching different sports and providing Christian views along the way. In the future, Eagle Eyez Athletics will be adding multiple programs for our youth as well as adults. Pop Warner Football, Softball, Baseball, Soccer, Volleyball will be different opportunities that will be incorporated within the organization. One of our biggest programs we are trying to incorporate in our organization is our Bridge 2 Fitness program.

We look to be able to help the community by reducing the drop-out rate in schools, gang violence, youth pregnancies and several of other challenges that our youth of today may face in the community. Eagle Eyez Athletics looks to provide a mentoring program in the community by joining with a local churches to provide an afterschool center, for parents who want their kids to attend. All programs in Eagle Eyez Athletics youth sports program require all youth to maintain a “C” average to participate in the sport for that season.

In the winter of 2009, Eagle Eyez Athletics started its first of many programs called Hoops 4 Hope (H4H) Basketball League, to the local churches and community organizations. Hoops 4 Hope basketball league will bring our young men/women of today together in a great atmosphere, and teach them the fundamentals of basketball. We hope the league will help our youth adapt to today’s society, while shaping them into the great Sheppard’s of God they are called to be. We hope that the youth will look at this league as a way to serve for God and seek after their purposes in life through the eyes of God.

This league will help keep the youth motivated in life and strive to achieve in life. In previous leagues I have seen the drop-out rate for youth, and teen pregnancy ratio drop with leagues and teams that we have formed. The league is design to help keep our young men and women from gangs and any worldly activity that could harm their future. The Hopes 4 Hope Basketball League will show them Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and how to be a Team Player. I feel this league will help bring our youth into our church families and organizations. Our goal is to help bring our youth up to grow strong and not criticize them when they make mistakes.

The league will consist of youth from the ages of 5-18 years of age. The league will be broken into divisions that will consist of 5-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-15, and 16-18 ages prospectively.

We hope that the league will produce mass revenue to give away scholarships to young men and women that maybe less fortunate to afford books, tution to a college or university of their choice.

In fall of 2010, Eagle Eyez Athletics Youth Division introduced Serving 4 Purpose (S4P) Volleyball league. Serving 4 Purpose will be serving Girls ages 10-18, who love the game of Volleyball. The volleyball league will bring our young women of today, together in a great atmosphere, and teach them the fundamentals of volleyball, while also helping them adapt to today’s society as a proud woman that they are. We hope that the young women will look at this league as a way to serve for God and seek after the purpose for their lives.

The league will help keep girls motivated in life and strive to excel in live. In previous leagues I have seen the drop-out rate for you and teen pregnancy ratio drop with leagues and teams that we have formed. The volleyball league will show responsibility, Sportsmanship, and how to become a team player. Eagle Eyez Athletics feel the league will help bring out your girls into our church families and organizations. Our goal is to help bring our young women up to grow strong.

In the future Eagle Eyez Athletics plan to open a youth community center to accommodate its programs within the organization. The community center will bring youth in off the streets, and allow them to have a place to unwind, and enjoy some of their friends without the dangers of the street. The Facility housed all youth from the ages of 6 and up. The center is design to house the youth during the business hours. Some of the center incentives will be a computer lab, game center, multi-purpose rooms, and a café. The center will host weekend festivities for the youth to come and enjoy. The Facility will be available Monday-Thursday from 10am- 9pm. On the weekend the facility will be open from 9am-11pm. The center will require all youth to have an ID Pass for security purposes. The center will host different seminars for the youth throughout the year to support and enhance our youth. The center will look to present area college students with internships, and community service hours to accommodate business hours and support staff for the community center.

In 2011, Eagle Eyez Athletics, Bridge to Fitness program opened up to all youth and adults fighting obesity. The program is blueprinted to show parents and youth the significance of avoiding chronic health conditions which could lead to long-term consequences for our youth. The program will include involvements with the “WE CAN!” program. The program will include ways to exercise and maintain a positive health track. The program will host different seminars with health professionals about the importance of a healthy life. The Bridge to Fitness will also be commerce with the Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity, Centers for Disease Control.

The staff at Eagle Eyez Athletics knows that that youth is a very important role in the future today, so we are trying our hardest to make sure that the youth have a positive outlook and have different avenues to look forward to in the world
We based on this principle on the proven fact that getting kids involved in TEAM sports helps them to live healthier, more productive lives.
